Adani Energy Solutions Ltd Projects

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd is undertaking multiple projects to bolster Kenya’s electricity infrastructure. This includes a 197 km, 400KV transmission line from Gilgil to Thika, a 101 km, 220KV line from Rongai to Keringet, and a 90 km, 132KV line from Menengai to Olkalau. Additionally, the project will establish 400/220KV substations at Lessos and Rongai, as well as a 132/33KV substation at Thur-Dibuoro. The total estimated cost for these developments is USD 907 million (Ksh 127 billion).

Africa 50 Project

The Africa 50 initiative aims to enhance electricity transmission in Kenya through the development of a 165 km, 400KV line along Losuk – Lessos and a 72 km, 220KV line from Kisumu to Musaga. This project is estimated to cost USD 313.25 million (Ksh 44 billion) and will significantly improve power connectivity in the region.
